Rattle the Boards will bring their rollicking, high-energy jigs, reels and songs to O’Shea’s directly from the pubs of Waterford and South Tipperary in Ireland. Benny McCarthy, on melodeon and button accordion, is also a founder of the internationally-renowned Irish band Danú. Joining Benny is Pat Ryan on fiddle, banjo and mandolin, John Nugent on guitar, and John T. Egan on vocals. The Irish Times newspaper says, “Rattle the Boards are playing tunes familiar to many parishes, but with a bit of fire under them.”
